Follows are some frequently asked questions about Adoption in Asia.

  • Q: How long will it take to adopt a child in Asia?
  • A: The process of adoption in Asia from application to adoption order and/or country visa will take between 6 months and 3 years.

  • Q: What child can I hope for, age of child, sex...
  • A: The child that you will adopt will depend on the country of origin, your own country requirements and your requirements. In some countries children must be at least 3 months and in others one sex is more available than the other.

  • Q: My husband and I are thinking about adopting a child in Asia, how do we begin?
  • A: The best people to ask about adopting a child in Asia are people that have succeeded in doing so. Both Monique and Kara have successfully adopted and can help you throughout the whole process.

  • Q: We are residents of Hong Kong that will be soon moving to Singapore. Should we begin adopting in Hong Kong or wait until we arrive in Singapore?
  • A: This depends on when you will be leaving HK and how far along the process you are. Contact us for more information.

  • Q: We are trying to adopt a child but have now found that we have come to an impasse and can go no further. What do we do?
